Gathering Prayer:

             ALL: Spirit of Resurrection,

            meet us in our longing and our hope.

            Gather the scattered pieces of our hearts,

            and teach us again to live in love.

            Amen.

CALL TO WORSHIP:

 Leader: Come, all who are weary of carrying heavy burdens.

Come, all who long to be made new.

 People: We come to lay down our shame, and to rise in love.

Leader: The risen Christ meets us on the road, in our doubts and in our longing.

People: We are not alone. Love is already here, welcoming us home.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
